Origin

I grew up in Los Angeles with a love for art and an obsession with technology. My younger self was uncertain of my future but knew I wanted to create things that could be enjoyed by myself as much as others. Finally dealing with my confusions, I settled on pursuing a degree in Computer Science with no knowledge of the field, letting my design interests exist as a hobby.

I worked as a brand designer on the side during my time at UC San Diego, creating brand identities for small businesses and individuals. Post-graduation, a nursing school hired me as a web developer to rebuild their website, and later on assess their brand marketing struggles. In 2024, I partnered with software engineer, Brandon Lin, and UI/UX designer, Justin Yeh to form a design and development firm named blancDesk. Our purpose was to create strong foundations for new and established businesses in the same way we created ours.

The business was never meant to be permanent. I am a firm believer in in creating my own opportunities to improve in my field and keep my skills sharp, especially when none seem available. For my team and me, blancDesk was this opportunity. What you see here are the remnants of the website repurposed for my personal use.
